Fight for the Constitution

Gary is pro-life and believes that life begins at conception.

He supports the Second Amendment and is a member of the National Rifle Association.

Gary will vote for Constitutional Carry, and believes it deserves an up-or-down vote in the Indiana State Senate.

He is a conservative and will never vote to raise taxes.

Gary opposes mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and extended use of emergency executive orders.

Fight Against Leftism

Ronald Reagan once said the nine scariest words in the English language are “I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”

Never has this been truer than with the Biden administration.

America is under attack from people with Marxist ideologies wanting to transform our country.

These leftists have found a home in the Democratic Party and Gary knows we must be willing to fight back at every level of government.

Stand Up for Rural Indiana

Gary is a farmer.

He knows there need to be more strong voices for rural Indiana in state government.

The legislature needs more conservatives with local government and school board experience.

Our country is in a time of crisis, and Gary believes the solution to what ails our nation will come from rural America and from the heartland of states like Indiana.

Schools Are for Education, Not Indoctrination

Gary has served on a school board.

For 8 years, he witnessed first-hand how the teachers’ unions often care more about the adults in the school than the kids.

Half of the state’s budget goes to education, and as a conservative Gary knows we need to make sure this money educates kids, not indoctrinates them in junk leftist ideologies like critical race theory.

Gary sponsored (and voted for) legislation to protect girls’ sports from unfair competition by biological males.  Governor Holcomb recently vetoed this bill, and Gary will vote to override his veto.

Gary opposes mask and vaccine mandates for schools.

Election Integrity & Security

In Indiana, we’re fortunate to have strong voter ID laws, but the 2020 election showed we can’t rest when it comes to improving the integrity of our elections.

Gary knows we need paper ballots marked by the voter, and we need to strongly reject Democrat claims that election integrity is somehow voter suppression.

Only citizens should vote, and steps must be taken to ensure absentee voting is more secure.

If we don’t have free and fair elections, we do not have a free country.
